Hmpf.
Harrumpf.
Mumble grumble malditos mojarra.
It seems that my motherboard, a GA-7ZXR, has croaked. It refused to boot, beeping first once and then twice before going dead, dead, dead. It doesn pay any attention to the Power button on the case, doesn't even attempt to display anything on the screen. Motherboard? Processor? Anyone's guess is as good as mine.
No problem, I hear you say, just stick the hard drives into another machine and off you go.
Not quite as simple, unfortunately, since they are connected on a RAID array and I would need to find a compatible RAID controller to run them.
I've contacted Gigabyte, hoping to hear from them on a solution. Meanwhile updates to the site will remain as near-dead as they currently are, while I flail around in the dark looking for a way to revive the blasted thing.
And of course, any pointers from people that have run into the same issue are more than welcome.
